FIELD: method for exchanging OAM echo-messages for checking network expansion route, based on a service. ^ SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the method, expansion routes, based on a service, or transport tunnels, include services, projected onto a route or assigned to a route which is associated with a transport tunnel. Exchange in echo-messages ensures OAM capabilities for monitoring related to working status of expansion route, based on service, including detection of configuration, capacity for connection and other characteristics of route of associated services which transmit data.
