<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system wherein a host apparatus and a printer are connected by a network such as LAN (Local Area Network), especially performing security printing reflecting an intention of a print data producer. <P>SOLUTION: Security designation information is added to print data produced by a PC 1 that is the host apparatus, and they are transmitted to a recipient via the network. The recipient transfers the print data to the printer so as to perform print processing of the print data. The printer reads the security designation information added to the print data, performs the print processing under a printing condition according to the security designation information, and performs the print processing reflecting the intention of the print data producer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
