<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording material showing preferable low temperature fixability and excellent adhesion resistance, excellent release property from a fixing device and capable of giving an image with high gloss and high picture quality, and in particular, suitable as an electrophotographic image receiving sheet, and to provide an effective method of manufacturing the material, and an image forming method with preferable passing property through a fixing machine by using the above image recording material. <P>SOLUTION: The image recording material comprises a support and an image recording layer containing a crystalline polymer and an amorphous polymer on at least one face of the support. The image recording layer shows such property that, in the measurement of viscoelasticity by a rheometer using 20 mm diameter plates and a 1.5 mm plate gap, a storage modulus G' at 100°C in a temperature rising process at a rate of 5°C/min is 1×10<SP>2</SP>to 1×10<SP>5</SP>Pa; a storage modulus G' at 60°C in a temperature falling process at a rate of 5°C/min is no less than 1×10<SP>6</SP>Pa, and the temperature difference between the temperature rising process at the rate of 5°C/min and the temperature falling process at the rate of 5°C/min, until the storage modulus reaches 1×10<SP>5</SP>Pa is no more than 18°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
