PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means of judging authenticity with which forgery or alteration can be easily judged and which can not be easily forged. SOLUTION: The medium for judging authenticity successively includes: a light selective reflection layer having light selective reflecting property that reflects one of left-handed circularly polarized light and right-handed circularly polarized light of incident light and having transmitting property for visible light; a latent image pattern layer having transmitting property for visible light and inverting the rotation direction of the incident light; a hologram forming layer; and a reflective pattern layer in this order.
