PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method of a seat pad capable of molding the seat pad without forming a groove or a recessed hole associated with projections for pushing a high-hardness material, on the upper face of the seat pad. SOLUTION: A projection part 10 is projected to the inner face of an upper die 2, and a magnet 11 is provided at its tip. A recess part 23 is provided at the base of the high-hardness material 20 and a ferromagnetic body 21 is disposed at its base. The projection part 10 and the recess part 23 are fitted to each other, and the ferromagnetic body 21 is attracted to the magnet 11 by the magnetic force of the magnet 11 to retain the high-hardness material to the upper die 2.
