The invention relates to an angular contact ball bearing (1; 1a; 1b; 1c) for bearing a feed screw (24) of a machine tool, said bearing consisting of an outer ring (2) and an inner ring (3) and an interposed row (6) of bearing balls (7) that roll on corresponding races (4, 5). The inner ring (3) and the outer ring (2) have respective shoulders (9, 10) on which the bearing balls (7) are supported in the axial direction. The angular contact ball bearing (1; 1a; 1b; 1c) can be axially pretensioned. In order to allow the angular contact ball bearing to be connected to a connecting structure in a simple and self-centering manner, the outer ring (2) is expanded radially on its exterior to give a flange (11) having at least two axially extending flange bores (12). At least one centering seat (18; 28) having a seat surface (19; 30) and a stop edge (20; 31) of a centering ring (21; 32) is integrated into the flange (11), the centering ring (21; 32) centering two identical angular contact ball bearings in relation to each other. |
