INSPECTION APPARATUS FOR SLIDE FASTENERS

The support for inspecting slide fasteners includes a slide fastener belt(14) provided with an equally-spaced clip(15) for supporting each of the slide fasteners (f) in a suspended condition. A drive intermittently rotates the horizontal belt. A first cripper (1) is provided at a first position along a movement path of the belt to feed the slide fasteners in succession to the clips of the suspension device in a suspended condition. A second grip(30) provided at a secone position along the path of the horizontal belt removes the slide fasteners from the clips(15). The path of the horizontal belt between the first and second positions provides the visual region for inspecting slide fasteners.
