PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video output device that allows a user to arbitrarily change a screen size ratio between two screens. SOLUTION: An output voltage of a slide switch is equivalent to a main screen size operation voltage while it is supplied to a main screen size voltage detection means. The output voltage is inputted to a voltage difference detection means so as to calculate a voltage obtained by subtracting the output voltage from a power supply voltage. The voltage is equivalent to a subscreen size operation voltage while it is supplied to a subscreen size voltage detection means. A main screen size operation voltage is detected by the main screen size operation voltage detection means. A subscreen size operation voltage is detected by the subscreen size operation voltage detection means. A screen ratio calculation means calculates a screen ratio on the basis of a voltage difference between the main screen size operation voltage and the subscreen size operation voltage. A video synthesis means sets a main screen size and a sub-screen size on the basis of the calculated screen ratio so as to display two screens on a display device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
