PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage battery capable of radiating heat through the bottom surface thereof without impairing insulating properties. SOLUTION: This storage battery 1 comprises: a plurality of capacitor cells 11 which are laminated; a frame body 4 comprising a pair of end face plates 2 and a pair of side face plates 3 which are formed of materials having high thermal conductivity and high rigidity in which the capacitor cells 11 are compressed in the laminating direction and held by the end face plates 2; a bottom plate 17 formed of a material having high thermal conductivity and high rigidity and occluding the bottom of the frame body 4; a plurality of heat transferring plates 12 each having a contact part 20 formed of a material having high thermal conductivity, sandwiched among a plurality of capacitors 11, protruding out of the capacitor cells 11 and abutting to the side face plates 3 at both sides and to the bottom plate 17; a separating member 18 formed of a material having high thermal conductivity and insulating properties, and covering the bottom surface of the bottom plate 17; a fixing member 6 formed of a material having insulating properties and high rigidity, and holding the frame body and the bottom plate; and a corrosion-resistant film 10 formed of a corrosion-resistant material and covering the bottom surface of the separating member 18.
