A method for producing sugar beet pectin consists in washing sugar beet roots, shredding thereof, mixing with water, utilization of sugar from sugar beet tissue by oriented anaerobic fermentation to ethyl alcohol, hydrolysis-extraction of sugar beet pulp, separation of hydrolysis mass, filtering and concentration of pectin extract, sedimentation and drying pectin. After fermentation sugar-free beet pulp is washed with sulfate-containing solution in a ratio pulp-solution of 1:(1-1.5) and then it is pressed, hydrolysis is performed with mixture of citric, orthophosphoric, hydrochloric acids with hydromodulus pulp:hydrolytic agent 1:(2-3) and the filtered extract is purified and concentrated by ultrafiltration. |
