<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction in a processing speed without damaging image quality in a one-dimensional IP system. <P>SOLUTION: The stereoscopic video display device includes: an element image display part 331 having pixels 335 arrayed in an matrix shape in a display screen thereof; and light beam control elements 332 disposed facing the element image display part and where optical apertures linearly extending in nearly a vertical direction are periodically arrayed in nearly a horizontal direction. Provided that the total number of pixel arrays is 2m, n is an integer, the horizontal pitch of the light control element is shorter than n×(m-1)/m times the horizontal pitch of the pixel, and a distance L' from the light beam control element surface where light beam groups from the pixels at every n-array are converged is longer than a standard view distance L, and a multi-view point image of n+2 view points or more being perspective projection equivalent to the standard view distance L is dividedly arranged in each element image in the element image display part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
