PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio apparatus by which a user can correctly obtain content of an arbitrary playlist from among two or more playlists. SOLUTION: The audio apparatus includes a list additional information storage device 7 which stores information about theme music set for the playlists, and the on-vehicle audio apparatus A is characterized in that when the user selects a playlist with a user interface device 8, a total controller 12 reproduces theme music for a preset period based on the theme music information stored for the playlist selected by the list additional information storage device 7 before reproducing the playlist.
