METHOD FOR PRODUCING OPAL-FINISHED AND DISCHARGE-PRINTED SYNTHETIC FIBER MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an opal-finished and discharge-printed synthetic fiber material by simultaneously applying opal-finish and discharge printing, and efficiently manufacturing the synthetic fiber material having high design properties in which an uneven pattern is combined with a discharge pattern in a simple method. SOLUTION: The method for producing the opal-finished and discharge-printed synthetic fiber material includes superimposing discharge printing paste containing an alcohol-based alkylene oxide adduct and/or an amine-based alkylene oxide adduct on an opal finishing paste containing an alkali metal hydroxide, printing the superposed paste to a base fabric and then heat-treating the fabric to simultaneously apply opal finish and discharge printing.
