PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desk apparatus with an elevating and lowering top plate, wherein attachment strength is high even when attaching an end rail to the upper end part of a leg body and appearance is improved by not forming a space at the rear part of the exposed part of a movable leg. SOLUTION: The desk apparatus with the elevating and lowering top plate is constituted so that the leg bodies 2 on both sides are configured such that the movable leg 5 is vertically movably supported at a fixed leg 4, a driving mechanism is provided in association with the fixed leg and the movable leg to make it possible to elevate and lower the movable leg, the height of the top plate 1 attached to the upper end of the movable leg is made adjustable, and the end rail 3 is attached between upper end parts on the rear end face of the fixed leg of both leg bodies. An extension cover part 16 is formed by extending the rear end part of the fixed leg upwards at a position along the rear part of the movable leg, and the end rail is attached to the upper end part of the fixed leg including the extension cover part.
