<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with an input function that can surely specify an input position even when employing a system which optically detects the input position. <P>SOLUTION: In the display device 100 with the input function, a contact monitoring mechanism 5 is constituted which monitors by a discriminating circuit 53 whether electric resistance varies between resistance patterns 51 and 50 as a fingertip of a user etc., comes into contact with a display light projection surface 150 of a liquid crystal device 110. Consequently, only when the fingertip etc., of the user comes into contact with the display light projection surface 150, the input position on the display light projection surface 150 is specified based upon which of a plurality of pixels has an increase in light reception amount of the light receiving element 34 formed therefor and when not, the input position is not specified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
