PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel which is capable of generating different torque, when an operation ring is rotated. SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes: an arm body which extends along the circumferential surface of a lens barrel body, in its circumferential direction and is elastically deformed; a cantilever-shaped torque applying arm which has a fixed end portion which is provided on one end side of the arm body and fixed to the lens barrel body and a free end portion which is provided on the other end side of the arm body and deformed in such a manner that the operation ring comes into contact with the free end portion; a torque varying ring which is fitted into the circumferential portion of the lens barrel body; and a supporting piece which is provided in the torque varying ring and arranged between the arm body and the lens barrel body and supports the arm body in a different position, according to the rotation stop position of the torque varying ring.
