PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module capable of obtaining a correct amount of displacement of a holder corresponding to a quantity of current when the prescribed quantity of current is supplied to a coil. SOLUTION: An upper plate spring 4 and a lower plate spring 10 press the holder 8 to a base 12, with no currents supplied to the coil 7. The holder 8 has a base-side cylindrical edge portion 8a supported by a base 12. The base 12 supports the cylindrical edge portion 8a of the holder 8, and is provided with a support member 13 having a screw thread 13a serving as a protruding height adjusting means capable of adjusting a protruding height from the base 12. The support member 13 is a ring-like member. The protruding height adjusting means is the screw thread 13a formed on the circumferential face of the support member 13.
