The cover is made of flexible foil (1), which covers a part of the inner covering surface of a blood arresting cuff comprising a distal and proximal front surface and an outer and inner covering surface. The foil protrudes distally over the cuff. The flexible foil covers the distal front surface and a part of the outer covering surface of the cuff, where a pad (3) is found between the inner covering surface of the cuff and the foil or a surface (4) turned away from the cuff. The foil consists of compatible plastic and polyethylene.
