<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an oxyalkylene-containing polymerizable compound which, when reacted with a polyisocyanate, can give a stable-quality reaction product without viscosity increase with time. <P>SOLUTION: The method is one for producing a polymerizable compound represented by formula (1): XO(AO)<SB>n</SB>H (wherein X is an acryloyl group or a methacryloyl group; AO is a 2-4C oxyalkylene group; and n is 2-20) and comprises effecting the ring opening polymerization between a monool compound having an acryloyl group or a methacryloyl group and having a 2-4C oxyalkylene group and a 2-4C alkylene oxide in the presence of a boron trifluoride compound as a catalyst and neutralizing the resulting product with a powdery alkali metal carbonate in an amount of 0.2-0.7 mass per mass of the catalyst at 40-90°C in the presence of 2,6-di-t-butyl-4-methylphenol as a polymerization inhibitor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
