<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorbing and insulating structure for a vehicle travel road which is easily constructed, economical and high in weather resistance and sound insulating effect, in the installation structure of a sound absorbing structure installed in an upper opening of the vehicle travel road with both side faces formed in a soundproof wall or trenched structure, to reduce traffic noise. <P>SOLUTION: The sound absorbing and insulating structure of the vehicle travel road 10 is constructed by providing a grated beam 14 at the upper opening 12 of the vehicle travel road 10 with both side faces formed as soundproof walls 11, 11 or in trenched structure, and installing the sound absorbing structure 1 for reducing traffic noise on the grated beam 14. The sound absorbing structure 1 is arranged by providing a plurality of ceramic sound absorbing members 1a of rectangular plate shapes formed of ceramic sound absorbing bodies 1b with open cells, side by side in a horizontal direction while inclining in one direction or the other direction in the upper opening 12 so that the adjacent ceramic sound absorbing members 1a abut on each other at least in part of one front face and the other rear face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
