PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas sensor equipped with a structure excellent in heat resistance performance. SOLUTION: A heat radiating structure (sensor body 32) is provided in the vicinity of a position abutted to an exhaust pipe (abutting surface FL), and a heat insulating structure (air chamber 46) is provided around a grommet 44. The sensor body 32 as the heat radiating structure has a projecting and recessed structure, and heat is easily radiated from the surface. The air chamber 46 as the heat insulating structure protects an inside of the sensor from heat of the atmosphere by heat insulating effect by the air. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
