PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wear prevention plate for the cutting edge of an excavating device capable of preventing the wear of the cutting edge without impairing excavation performance. SOLUTION: This wear prevention plate 16 mounted at a cutting edge (14a) of the cutting edge (14) like a flat plate of the excavating device is positioned in a region (R) of the width of a plate thickness T prescribed by faces formed by extending both of plate faces F1, F2 of the cutting edge 14 and fixed integrally with the cutting edge part 14a in this region.
