The shade has a rotatably supported wind-up shaft (36) with two ends, and a shade element (22) with an edge fixed to the wind-up shaft. A pull rod (23) is connected to one of ends of the shade element remote from the wind-up shaft. Two guide rails (26, 27) guide the pull rod extended on opposite sides of the shade element when the shade element is in an extended position. Two drive gears (47, 48) are arranged at the ends of the wind-up shaft, where each drive gear is allocated to a respective one of push elements (38, 39). A tensioning mechanism maintains tension in the shade element.
