PILOERECTIVE COMPOSITE PARTICLE, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD AND COMPOSITE MATERIAL FOR MOLDING CONTAINING THE COMPOSITE PARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new piloerective composite particles hards segregating in a matrix powder and capable of dispersing homogeneously, a method for manufacturing the composite particles efficiently, and a composite material for molding which contains the composite particles uniformly. SOLUTION: This piloerective composite particles are produced by combining metal oxide particles prepared by a sol-gel method with a fibrous substance. The method for manufacturing the composite particles comprises a step of hydrolyzing a hydrolyzable metal compound in a solvent in the presence of the fibrous substance followed by condensing the metal compound to form a metal oxide sol.
