摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out high-speed printing by removing foreign substances adhering to a conveyance belt. SOLUTION: A plurality of through holes 10 are formed in the conveyance belt 8 wound around a pair of belt rollers 6 and 7. The whole region of a top face of a suction box 12 is made an opening 12a. A plurality of platen rollers 9 are arranged at equal intervals in a conveyance direction of a recording paper P while keeping contact with a rear face of a forward travel face 8a of the conveyance belt 8. Slits 16 and 17 are formed in side faces of the suction box 12. The conveyance belt 8 comes in and out of the suction box 12 via the slits 16 and 17. A turbofan 11 is set at a position where a return travel face 8b of the conveyance belt 8 is held between the platen rollers 9 and the turbofan in the suction box 12. An air current generated by the turbofan 11 enters the suction box 12 between the through holes 10 of the forward travel face 8a and the platen rollers 9 and flows via the through holes 10 of the return travel face 8b.
