摘要 <p>This invention provides a nickel-rhenium alloy powder suitable particular ly for the formation of an internal electrode layer for a stacked ceramic el ectronic component. The nickel-rhenium alloy powder comprises nickel as a ma in component and further comprises 0.1 to 10% by weight of rhenium and havin g an average particle diameter of 0.05 to 1.0 µm. The nickel-rhenium alloy p owder has a surface oxide film comprising an oxide of nickel and an oxide of rhenium. The content of oxygen in the nickel-rhenium alloy powder in the su rface oxide film is 0.1 to 3.0% by weight based on the total amount of the p owder. The powder, optionally together with other additive(s), is homogeneou sly mixed and dispersed in an organic vehicle to prepare a conductor paste. The use of the nickel-rhenium alloy powder particularly for the formation of an internal electrode for a stacked ceramic electronic component is advanta geous in that, by virtue of the surface oxide film, the sintering shrink beh avior of the electrode can be rendered similar to the sintering shrink behav ior of the ceramic layer. Further, spheroidizing of the electrode attributab le to oversintering does not take place. Therefore, an internal electrode, w hich is thinner and denser and has excellent continuity, can be provided.</S DOAB></p>
