<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily execute an electronic settlement, even if a mobile machine is packed in a bag or the like, while ensuring a user's safety. <P>SOLUTION: In the settlement system for executing settlement processing by electronic settlement between a settlement device and the mobile machine, the settlement device comprises a biological information acquisition part for acquiring biological information used for individual authentication of the user from the user of the mobile machine; a first communication part directly communicating with the mobile machine by near distance radio communication; and a first settlement processing part executing the settlement processing with the mobile machine. The mobile machine comprises a biological information storage part preliminarily storing biological information; a second communication part directly communicating with the first communication part by near distance radio communication; and a second settlement processing part executing the settlement processing with the first settlement processing part.
