PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a response system, a response management apparatus, a responding terminal, and a response management method where a calling-side terminal and the responding terminal can be reconnected, after disconnection of speech. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a response system, including at least one or more responding terminals and a response management apparatus connected to the responding terminals, wherein each responding terminal includes a status transmission unit for transmitting a specific identification number and status information indicative of at least a re-call waiting status and the response management apparatus comprises a call terminating unit which receives and terminates an originated call from a calling-side terminal; a re-call determination unit, which determines whether a call originating number of the calling-side terminal terminated by the termination unit is a speech disconnected call originating number; a response management storage unit for holding status information of each of the responding terminals; an incoming call distribution unit for selecting and connecting a responding terminal which should make a response, from at least one or more responding terminals, on the basis of the judging result of the re-call determination unit and the status information; and a status information managing unit for managing the status information.
