<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box which can package a rimmed food tray with its bottom afloat and requires fewer members to be used compared to a conventional packaging box. <P>SOLUTION: The packaging box 1 is used for packaging the rimmed food tray, and includes a pair of side walls 5 and 6 facing each other and a partition 3 that is incorporated in the packaging box 1 when it is assembled. The pair of side walls 5 and 6 have upward extending pieces 19 and 29 extending upward from the base ends near bottom sides, respectively. The partition 3 has guide cuts 53 and 54 which are made by cutting the partition 3 to extend upward and inward from the outside ends or the vicinities of the outside ends of the partition 3. The upward extending pieces 19 and 29 are inserted into the guide cuts 53 and 54 to incorporate the partition 3 in the packaging box 1. As a result, the upward extending pieces 19 and 29 guided by the guide cuts 53 and 54 tilt inwardly, which allows the upward extending pieces 19 and 29 to function as a support for supporting the rim of the food tray. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
