ACCOUNT TRANSACTION SYSTEM AND METHOD IN FINANCIAL INSTITUTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent transaction accompanied by illegal movement of sum of money out of an account by others by notifying an account holder or its agent about the transaction accompanied by movement of the sum of money out of the account when it is performed and executing the transaction only when the account holder or its agent does not give an instruction to stop transaction within a prescribed period.

SOLUTION: An account transaction system has: an accounting system higher order device in a financial institution; an automatic transaction machine for communicating with the accounting system higher order device to perform a transaction; a transaction management means for managing a transaction of an account opened at the financial institution; and a communication means used by the account holder or its agent. The transaction management means notifies the communication means about the transaction accompanied by the movement of sum of money out of the account when it is performed, and when receiving an instruction to stop the transaction from the communication means within the prescribed period, instructs the accounting system higher order device to stop the transaction accompanied by the movement of the sum of money out of the account.
