PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing plate polymer particles having thin and uniform thickness and suitable as particles for the production of cosmetics and industrial particles for the production of coloring materials, water-based inks, etc., a method for producing the plate polymer particles having uniform particle size distribution and arbitrary shape, and a resin layer transfer sheet used for the above production methods. SOLUTION: The method for the production of plate polymer particles comprises the use of a resin layer transfer sheet at least having a resin layer on a substrate, the thermal transfer of the resin layer to a transfer object, the peeling of the resin layer and the crushing of the peeled layer. The other method for the production of plate polymer particles comprises the thermal transfer of a resin layer in an arbitrary shape by using a thermal head and the peeling of the transferred resin layer. The resin layer transfer sheet has a resin layer composed mainly of a thermoplastic resin on a substrate. An adhesive layer is formed on the resin layer as needed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
