A door weather strip mounting structure in a vehicle is provided to reduce damage generated when opening and closing a door by fitting a weather strip to a mounting bracket attached to an inner panel of the door integrally. In a door weather strip mounting structure in a vehicle, a weather strip(13) is fit to a mounting bracket integrally attached to an inner panel(11) of a door. The mounting bracket shapes into 'L' having a long edge(12a) and a short edge(12b). The short edge of the mounting bracket is welded to the inner panel. A plurality of grooves(12c) and recesses(12d) are longitudinally formed the upper surface and the lower surface of the long edge of the mounting bracket. The weather strip is provided with a fitting portion(13a) having a fitting groove which is mated to the long edge. The inner surface of the fitting groove recesses and grooves mating with the recesses and the grooves formed on the long edge.
