An optical pickup actuator (50) has an objective lens holder (51) which holds an objective lens (31) and on which at least tracking coils and a focusing coil are mounted and a damper base (53) for swingably supporting the objective lens holder (51) via six suspension wires (52). The damper base (53) includes supporting portions (532) for supporting ends of the six suspension wires (52) using adhesive agent. At the supporting portions (532) side, the optical pickup actuator (50) has an ACT flexible printed wiring board (55) which is electrically connected to the ends of the six suspension wires (52). A reinforcing plate (54) having a thickness of 0,5 mm lies between the ACT flexible printed wiring board (55) and the supporting portions (532) to set a gap between the ACT flexible printed wiring board (55) and the supporting portions (632).
