Method for communicating between vehicles

The method involves receiving a list of applications as a participant in a communication network, and defining a Java interface (34) such as Java 2 micro edition for basic functions during communication between vehicles. The list of applications is passed between the vehicles. One vehicle involved in the communication transmits the available application to other vehicles. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program with a computer product for executing a method for providing communication between vehicles (2) a computer program product with a program code for executing a method for providing communication between vehicles.
