REFRIGERATOR AND CONTROLLING METHOD FOR THE REFRIGERATOR

A refrigerator is provided to keep freshness of meats/fishes by irradiating visible ray light inside the meat/fish storage room and holding predetermined temperature simultaneously. A refrigerator comprises a refrigerator main body, a meat/fish storage room(30), irradiation devices(40,50) and a controller. The refrigerator main body includes a refrigerator compartment and a freezer compartment. The meat/fish storage room is equipped with the refrigerator compartment and has anti-microorganism coating for preventing propagation of microorganism. The visible light irradiation device irradiates visible ray light to the meat/fish storage room. The controller controls the irradiation device.
