<p>A pick and place apparatus is provided to reduce the volume and weight of an apparatus by selectively elevating a plurality of pickup units by one serve motor. A support block(12) is supplied as a fixed structure, installed in a fix frame included in a pick and place system. A pick-up unit(18) penetrates the support block, capable of moving up and down slidingly. A transfer rail(30) in which a picker(16) for adsorbing a package is installed is included at one end of the pickup unit. An elevation unit(24) includes an elevation frame(20) bound to the pickup unit, a servo motor for driving the elevation frame, and a power transfer unit that transfers the power of the servo motor to the elevation frame to vertically drive the elevation frame. A binding unit controls the binding of the pickup unit and the elevation unit by using electromagnetic force so that the pickup unit selectively moves up and down when the elevation frame bound to the pickup unit moves up and down. The pickup unit can include upper and lower support frames(28,36). The upper support frame is fixed to the upper part of the transfer rails, disposed on the elevation frame. The lower support frame is fixed to the lower part of the transfer rails.</p> |
