The body (1) has a housing (2) receiving a turbine (2a) and with a collector (4) extended by a volute diversion part (5). The part forms a volute tongue (6), at a level of an opening on the collector and a peripheral edge of the turbine. The tongue is placed between a diversion part`s edge close to a rotation axis (Z-Z) of the turbine and a peripheral edge of the housing. The tongue is traversed by a channel (10) connecting high and low pressure field zones (7, 8). The zone (7) is located in the part, and the zone (8) is located in the collector, upstream of an inlet of the part. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a pump body.
