The tool (26) has a set of detector plates (18) arranged in a module carrier. A base-body with a longitudinal stop (28) and with a transverse stop is provided for position-accurately positioning the respective detector plates with respect to a longitudinal direction (L) and a transverse direction (Q). A set of gauge blocks (32, 32a) is provided with different lengths, and a clamping mechanism i.e. sliding mechanism, is provided for clamping the gauge blocks. A mechanical clamping device is provided for clamping the detector plates in the transverse direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for structuring of a detector module.
