PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus which removes smear in a moving image mode and controls image quality deterioration. SOLUTION: A timing signal generation circuit 20 outputs an operation signal to allow a horizontal transfer part 14 to generate a first mixture packet and a second mixture packet. The first mixture packet includes a plurality of signal packets that belong to the closest row of the same color within the same line and dummy packets that belong to the same row as the signal packets. The second mixture packet does not include signal packets, but on the other hand, includes a plurality of dummy packets in the same row as the plurality of signal packets included in the first mixture packet.
