PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water tank covering lid system using movable covering lid members capable of reducing a step between the covering lid members and ensuring the sufficient load strength even when the span is relatively long. SOLUTION: Top plates 15A, 15B and 15C for covering an opening 12a and each pair of leg plates 16A, 16B and 16C extending downward from the top plates 15A, 15B and 15C are at least provided on covering lid members 14A, 14B and 14C. Turnable reinforcing plates 20Bb and 20Cb mounted in an extending and turnable manner in the equitant direction over the opening 12a are provided on the top plates 15B and 15C of the covering lid members 14B and 14C, respectively. When the covering lid members 14A and 14B are stored in the covering lid members 14B and 14C, the turnable reinforcing plates 20Bb and 20Cb are folded along the top plates 15B and 15C. When the covering lid members 14A and 14B functioning as stored members are drawn, the turnable reinforcing plates 20Bb and 20Cb are suspended down due to their own weights.
