<p>A recycling plant for the cold reduction of rubber products, steel-rubber products and steel cord, comprises a shredder, an advancing unit, cooling zones, a reducing unit, a vibrating table, and a control unit. The shredder consists of a pre-reducing unit (1.1). The advancing unit (2.1) supplies the reduced material (9) to a cooling zone (4) which contains liquid nitrogen coolant. The liquid nitrogen is used for the brittle fracture of the material, and the material is further broken down in an intermediate reducing unit, and then in a final unit. The vibrating table (5) has a magnetic separator for the separation of the steel from the rubber. The control unit is used to control and monitor the process. A second cooling zone is located between the intermediate and final reducing units. The intermediate reducing unit is a granulator.</p> |
