PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication terminal which suppresses enlargement of a casing and in which no constraint on design is generated regarding arrangement of an infrared filter. SOLUTION: In the portable communication terminal provided with the casing, a receiving part speaker which is stored in the inside of the tip of the casing to output voice to the outside of the casing via a voice output hole arranged on the surface of the casing, an infrared communication part which is stored in the inside of the tip of the casing to perform infrared communication and an IrDA filter arranged on an end surface of the tip of the casing opposite to the infrared communication part, the receiving part speaker 21 and the infrared communication part 20 are arranged in line in the casing width direction in the inside of the tip of the casing and the IrDA filter 13 is arranged over a position opposite to the receiving part speaker 21 in the end surface of the tip and a position opposite to the infrared communication part 20 of the casing.
