PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a point group data obtained by measuring actually an object from being erroneously correlated with a specified design data about the object, when inspecting the object such as a mold component. SOLUTION: A feature value expressing a shape of a face in the design data specified as to the component is collated with a feature value calculated as to the point group data obtained by measuring actually the object, so as to correlate the point group data with the face in the design data.
