PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming spine-shaped projections on a ceramic, by which various spine-shaped projections can be formed on the outside of a ceramic by applying a traditional brush mark technique in the decorating step of the ceramic. SOLUTION: The method for forming the spine-shaped projections on a ceramic includes steps of elutriating, kneading and forming a ceramic, and decorating the ceramic, wherein the decorating step comprises: forming projections by applying a first soil water on the outside of the half-dried ceramic using a rough brush and forming a plurality of projection roots; and growing projections by repeatedly applying a second soil water on the plurality of the projection roots using the brush and drying the projection roots at a specified temperature and relative humidity for a specified time in the shade each time after the application. It is possible to embody various patterns of a ceramic, that have never been expressed before, by forming projections bent toward various directions, and then adding proper pigments to the soil water at proper time and proper ratios to form projections having various patterns and colors.
