PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer system capable of transferring an article between a transfer device such as a stacker crane and a rack, with a saved space and a low impact in a short time. SOLUTION: Two upper and lower marks 31, 32 of the same height as an article loading surface are placed on a rack supporter 30. The inclination of a slide fork 16 is detected by image sensors 36, 37 attached to at least two positions of the slide fork 16.
