<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain efficient and effective tracking and management of a workpiece. <P>SOLUTION: The tracking system comprises a first means for reading, when the workpiece is put into a production line by a conveyance carrier, a lot number from the carrier, issuing a work identification temporary ID to the workpiece, and registering coding information of the lot number with a log identifier contained in the work identification temporary ID to a lot management database; a second means for tracking movement of the workpiece in the production line by using the work identification temporary ID as tracking data; and a third means for reading the work identifier from the workpiece in any point on the production line and registering coding information of this work identifier with the work identification temporary ID issued to the workpiece to a work management database. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
