<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of a user by indicating that how many recording media to be copied are required and how much extent is used for recording for capacity of the recording medium to be recorded, during recording. <P>SOLUTION: Capacity of a large capacity recording medium such as a hard disk is divided into a plurality of capacity for each capacity of a small recording medium such as an optical disk and recording is performed.
