<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device with an improved contrast property. <P>SOLUTION: The plasma display device is provided with a front panel including a scanning electrode and a sustaining electrode, a rear panel which includes a data electrode crossing the scanning electrode and the sustain electrode and is connected with the front panel in parallel with a predetermined clearance, barrier ribs arranged to divide discharging cells between the front panel and the rear panel, a phosphor to discharge visible light inside the discharging cells and an electromagnetic wave shielding filter arranged on an upper part of the front panel. Moreover, the electromagnetic wave shielding filter is provided with a base layer and a metal layer of a mesh pattern of a uniform thickness arranged on the base layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
