PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store a television image at a desired moment into a portable terminal without any troublesome operation while watching a video image on television. SOLUTION: A television image capture system 1 has the television 2 and the portable terminal 3, wherein tuners 4, 8 capable of receiving a television signal and monitors 5, 9 are provided. The portable terminal 3 has: a tuner synchronization section for synchronizing the tuner 8 of the portable terminal 3 with the tuner 4 of the television 2; a capture switch 11 for generating a trigger signal; a storage section 12 for storing the image information; and a control section 13 for storing the image information received by the tuner 8 into a storage section 12 according to a trigger signal generated by a capture switch 11.
