PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretch narrow woven fabric using urethane yarns as wefts and warps, solving the problems of its cutoff side fraying and perpendicular splitting. SOLUTION: The stretch narrow woven fabric is obtained by arranging thermofusible urethane yarns 13, 23 for the every predetermined counts of wefts and warps followed by weaving and then making a heat treatment. In the woven fabric thus obtained, the mutual surfaces of the longitudinal and transverse thermofusible urethane yarns 13, 23 are fused at their intersections 3, wherein the thermofusible urethane yarns 13, 23 are such that low-melting polyurethane filament core yarns are roughly covered. Owing to the heat treatment following the weaving to effect mutual thermofusing of the longitudinal and transverse low-melting polyurethane filaments at their intersections, weft fraying and perpendicular splitting of the final stretch narrow woven fabric can be prevented.
